My Principles

Alternative Title: A list of sentences I repeat constantly

I only recommend things or people I have personal experience with.

I only go out of my way to try new things if it is recommended to me by someone whose judgement I trust.

I only sell something to someone if they genuinely need it.

You get all of me, or none of me, and I expect the same from others.

I refuse to dumb myself down in order to please another individual’s insecurity.

I am kind, not nice – there’s a difference.

I will not give you respect if you do not give it to me in return.

I say what I mean and mean what I say.

My words align with my actions, and I am unafraid to cut you off if you do not do the same.

I only help those who ask me for my help.

I refuse to use terminology (unless absolutely necessary) as it excludes people from conversations – simple, clear language is preferred.

I do not pretend, if I am performing I will declare so.

I refuse to make someone dependent on me, in any form.

I do not justify – I trust, but verify.

I don’t know everything, and neither do you. I understand that, and I expect you to too.

Health is a number one priority, always.

I have everything I need.

I give thanks when it is due, and expect the same from others too.

I do not complain, I either do something about it or learn to live with it.

When I need help, I ask for it.

I understand what is within my control, and what isn’t.

I am patient, but will push you if you’re ready to grow. I expect the same from others too.
